My overall experience at BPC IT has been good so far, with a fair mix of positives and some areas that can improve. One of the biggest advantages of studying here is the affordable fee structure, which makes higher education accessible to students from different backgrounds. The college provides decent academic support, and most of the teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They explain topics clearly and are approachable when you need extra guidance. The curriculum is balanced and covers both theoretical and practical aspects, which is helpful for building a good foundation. Campus life is simple but friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful, and you get to interact with students from different places, which helps build good friendships and networks. There are some clubs and student groups for cultural activities, sports, and social work, though they can be more active. The library is quite helpful with enough textbooks and a few journals, but more updated books would be better. Sports facilities exist but are basic and need more attention. On the downside, sometimes administrative work can be slow, and the infrastructure like labs or classrooms could be improved. Also, placement support should be made stronger so that more companies visit the campus. For future students, my advice is to focus on your studies from day one and make the most of the faculty’s support. Use the library and attend events to build your skills. This is a polytechnic institute situated in Krishnagar. This college has a huge campus, with buildings, hostels, playgrounds and workshops. Campus: This college has several rooms and buildings. One may find many playgrounds around the college. There is a student council room on the left site of the entrance. Admission: In order to take admission in this college, one must apply for JEXPO or JEXPO VOCLET. Earlier, this used to be a written exam, but nowadays it takes into account your class 10th and 12th results, respectively. One must sign up on the website of WBSCTVESD and wait for allotment. Upon being successful, a merit list will be published, post that students may visit their college and take admission after choice filling. Fees: This, being a government college, charges very minimal fees. The first year is 800 rs for admission and tuition fees.
