Recommends this college
My overall experience at BPC IT has been good so far, with a fair mix of positives and some areas that can improve. One of the biggest advantages of studying here is the affordable fee structure, which makes higher education accessible to students from different backgrounds. The college provides decent academic support, and most of the teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They explain topics clearly and are approachable when you need extra guidance. The curriculum is balanced and covers both theoretical and practical aspects, which is helpful for building a good foundation. Campus life is simple but friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful, and you get to interact with students from different places, which helps build good friendships and networks. There are some clubs and student groups for cultural activities, sports, and social work, though they can be more active. The library is quite helpful with enough textbooks and a few journals, but more updated books would be better. Sports facilities exist but are basic and need more attention. On the downside, sometimes administrative work can be slow, and the infrastructure like labs or classrooms could be improved. Also, placement support should be made stronger so that more companies visit the campus. For future students, my advice is to focus on your studies from day one and make the most of the faculty’s support. Use the library and attend events to build your skills. If you are looking for an affordable college with a decent learning environment, BPC IT can be a good choice.

Campus Facilities: The campus at BPC IT is simple and peaceful, providing a good environment for studying. The classrooms are basic but spacious enough, with fans, lights, benches, and boards. Some rooms have projectors, but not all. The labs have the necessary equipment for practicals, though a few labs could use upgrades with more modern machines and tools. The library is helpful with a fair collection of textbooks and some reference journals. It has enough seating space for students to study quietly. Books can be borrowed for a few days, and there are old question papers and study material available too. For students coming from out of town, there is a hostel facility on campus, but seats are limited. The rooms are okay for basic needs, and the mess food is average — not too bad, but not very great either. Some students prefer staying in nearby PGs or rented rooms if they want more comfort. There is a small canteen on campus that serves snacks and tea at reasonable prices. Drinking water and basic medical help are available. There is no bank branch on campus, but there is an ATM nearby which is convenient for students. Internet connectivity is decent in some areas of the campus, but it can be improved. Overall, the campus has the basic facilities needed for academics and daily life, but more modern amenities and better maintenance would make student life even more comfortable.
Campus Life: Campus life at BPC IT is simple but enjoyable. The atmosphere is calm, and students are friendly and supportive of each other. There are small groups and clubs where you can participate in cultural activities, sports, or volunteer work, which helps you make friends and learn new skills outside academics. One of the best parts of campus life is the annual college fest. Though it’s not very big, it brings a lot of excitement to everyone on campus. The best event of our fest is the cultural night, where students showcase their talents in dance, music, drama, and fashion shows. It’s really fun because you get to see your friends perform on stage and cheer for them. The event gives good exposure too because students organise it themselves — from setting up the stage to managing lights, sound, and performances. It improves teamwork and builds confidence. For many of us, it’s a break from routine studies and a chance to enjoy, laugh, and create good memories with our batchmates. Overall, even though the campus and fest are not as grand as big universities, the small celebrations and friendly atmosphere make life at BPC IT special in its own way.
Faculty: The faculty at BPC IT is generally well-qualified and supportive. Most of the teachers have postgraduate degrees in their subjects, and some even have research experience, which helps them explain topics clearly with practical examples. They are approachable and ready to help students who ask doubts after class or need extra guidance. My favourite faculty is our Computer Science teacher. She has a master’s degree and a lot of teaching experience. Her way of explaining complex topics in a simple manner makes the subject interesting and easy to understand. She uses real-life examples, extra notes, and sometimes even shares her own study tips, which really helps us during exams. She is also very encouraging and motivates us to do well, not just in studies but also in other activities. Having teachers like her makes learning at BPC IT a good experience overall.
Placements: At BPC IT, internship and placement opportunities are average but gradually improving. The college does not have a very large placement cell, so students often have to find internships on their own through external portals or personal contacts. Some departments arrange training or workshops to help students get internships during vacations. Stipends for internships vary a lot but are usually in the range of ?3,000 to ?8,000 per month, depending on the company and role. When it comes to placements, about 50–60% of students from my batch have been placed so far, mostly in IT support, BPOs, and a few technical roles. Some students go for higher studies instead of taking campus jobs. Companies that have visited our campus include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and a few local startups. The average salary package offered is around ?2.5 LPA to ?3.5 LPA. For example, TCS and Wipro offered packages in the range of ?2.8 LPA to ?3.2 LPA. Some students who got into core technical roles or better off-campus opportunities have received slightly higher packages up to ?4 LPA. Overall, placements are decent if you are ready to prepare well on your own. The college should focus more on bringing more companies and conducting placement training regularly. My advice is to work on your skills side by side to get better job opportunities after graduation.
