UPSEE Counselling Procedure 2025

The counseling procedure of UPSEE 2025 has the following steps. Candidates need to follow each of the steps in their respective order to successfully complete the procedure.

Step 1 – Registration & Payment of counselling fee: Candidates will have to register by using their UPSEE 2025 application number and password. Once registered, candidates will be required to pay the specified counselling fee in online mode via debit card/ credit card or net banking.

1. General & OBC candidates - Rs 20,000
2. SC & ST candidates - Rs 12,000

Step 2 – Document verification: Candidates will have to upload the necessary documents and get them verified. The file size must be 200 KB while uploading. The list of documents is given below.

• Rural weightage certificate if applicable
• Domicile certificate
• Domicile certificate of his/ her parents (Father OR Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P

• Certificate of Medical Fitness/ Undertaking of Medical Fitness
• Domicile certificate, if applicable.

• Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/ Physically handicapped as applicable

After document verification, candidates will be given a One-time-password (OTP) to login for choice filling

Step 3 - Filling of choices: Candidates will have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their priority during choice filling. Candidates must fill as many choices as possible.

Step 4 – Seat allotment result: On the basis of choice filling, merit list, and available of seats, candidates will be awarded seat in the B.Tech programme.

Step 5 – Online willingness by the candidates: In this step, candidates will have to select three options to confirm seat allotment - Freeze, Float and Withdrawal.
