UGC NET 2025 Application Form

CBSE board organizes the National Eligibility Test (NET) under the University Grants Commission (UGC). UGC NET conducts the Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor Programme for Indian students. UGC NET 2025 Application Form will be released from March 2025. Junior Research Fellowship candidates are eligible to pursue research in their PG subject from IITs or other national institutions. CBSE UGC NET qualified students can also apply for the post of Assistant professor. UGC NET 2025 exam will be conducted only one time in a year. UGC NET 2025 Application Form

Here we are providing details about UGC NET Registration 2025:

  • The application form will be released on March 2025.
  • The last date of submission of application form will be April 2025.
  • Application form submitted after the due date will be rejected.
  • The application process will be consisting of a total of four steps.
  • The authority may provide the correction facility in UGC NET application form. The correction window will be opened for 1 week only.
  • Do not send the printout of the confirmation page to the authority office.

UGC NET 2025 Application Process:

Application Window: Candidates can apply for UGC NET 2025 by filling in the Application Form which is available on the official website from March 2025. The deadline to complete UGC NET 2025 Application Process is April 2025.

Eligibility: Candidates who wish to apply for UGC NET 2025 are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before starting the application process and find out if they are eligible for UGC NET 2025.

Uploading images: Candidates should upload scanned images by adhering to the rules specified.

Application Fee: The application fee is variable according to the candidate's category. UGC NET 2025 Application will cost Rs.600 for candidates belonging to the General Category, Rs.300/- for OBC category, Rs.150/- for SC/ST/PWD.

Fee Payment: UGC NET 2025 Application Fee can be paid through both online and offline modes.

Submission: Candidates can submit the UGC NET 2025 Application form by clicking "Submit" after all the details have been filled in.

Documents: Candidates are advised to print a copy of the Application Form and other essential documents for future references.

Correction Window: The candidate can make changes in the UGC NET 2025 application form. This particular window will be open for a period of one week.

Step 1 (Registration):

Log in: Candidates who have already registered for UGC NET 2025 can log in using their Application Number and Password.

Registration: New users should register on the official website of UGC NET 2025 to apply for the same. Candidates can complete the registration process by filling in the required details.

Step 2 (Filling in the details):

Details: Now the online CBSE UGC NET 2025 Application Form will be displayed and candidates must enter the required details.

Submission: Fill in all the details and click on the Submit option.

Step 3 (Uploading Scanned Images):

  • Candidates should upload scanned images only in the specified format and dimensions.
  • The candidate should know about the criteria to be followed at the time of uploading the photo and signature.

Some Standards to be followed while uploading the photo:

  • Format: The picture that is to be uploaded should be in the jpg/jpeg format.
  • Size of the photo: 4KB – 40KB.
  • Photograph dimension (width*Height):5 cm * 4.5 cm
  • Size of signature image: 1KB – 30 KB.
  • Signature dimension (length*Height):5 cm * 1.5 cm.

Step 4 (Application Fee Payment):

  • After the final upload of the photo, the candidates will be redirected to the fee payment portal.
  • Payment mode: Candidates can choose to pay through online payment or E-Challan, whichever is convenient for them.
  • E-Challan: If the candidate opts for payment through E-challan, the system will generate an E-Challan that the candidate has to get printed and submit it along with the fee to any nearest Canara Bank/Syndicate Bank/HDFC Bank or ICICI Bank.
  • Debit/Credit card: If the candidate selects Debit/Credit Card then the details about the Application Fee will be displayed.
  • Candidates can continue the process of application fee payment by clicking on the "Yes, I do" option.

After completing the fee payment, candidates have to take the printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe.
