Candidates appearing for the DUET 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are listed below.
The registration and application process are conducted online and will begin in February 2024 (for UG) and December 2023 (for PG). Candidates will be able to choose 10 subjects of their choice for examination.
Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of DU or NTA – https://nta.ac.in or https://www.du.ac.in and create a profile.
Step – 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form.
Step – 3: In the final step, candidates are then required to make the payment for the application form through both online and offline mode.

Candidates appearing for the DUET 2024 will be able to download their admit cards online from the official website of NTA (National Testing Agency). These admit cards will be available in the 1st week of May 2024. All the candidates should go through the details provided in their respective hall tickets/admit cards before appearing in the exam venue.
In case if any registered candidate fails to receive the admit card or have any mistakes, then they are advised to contact the officials immediately. Candidates are also advised to carry one official ID proof in the exam centre along with their admit cards.
The syllabus for DUET 2024 is divided into three sections, which are included from the NCERT syllabus of 10+2 level.
Candidates appearing in the General tests are required to attend 50 questions out of 60 while in other subjects including languages, candidates are required to attend 35 questions out of 40.
The DUET 2024 exam pattern varies based on the type of course. The exam is conducted in online mode through Computer Based Test (CBT). The medium of the exam is English, except for language-specific courses. The question paper is conducted for 400 marks consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions.
The number of questions varies based on the program applied for, and the syllabus includes topics and subjects from which questions can be asked in the exam. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages including – Hindi, English, Punjabi, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia, Tamil, and Urdu.
Time Limit: 2 hours
Marking: For each correct answer a candidate will be given 5 marks, meanwhile for each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
The DUET 2024 results are expected to be declared in the month of April 2024 (for PG) and 1st week of June 2024 (for UG). However, the answer keys will be available to the candidates beforehand through online. Candidates will be able to download them by providing their credentials in the website. Usually, the answer keys are released a few weeks before the results are declared.
