AP LAWCET 2024: Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus, Admit Card

AP LAWCET 2024 is a state-level entrance exam. The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is administered by Shri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMPV), Tirupati, on behalf of APSCHE. Candidates who pass this entrance exam will be admitted to the LLB (3 and 5 year) programs. Qualified candidates will be admitted to a variety of public and private colleges located around the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the third week of May 2024 in a Computer-based Test mode. It is anticipated that the application procedure will begin in March 2024. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions on the exam,  and the duration of the exam will be 1.5 hours.

AP LAWCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must review the eligibility requirements listed below before completing the AP LAWCET 2024 application form.

Fundamental Qualifications-

  • Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Resident: The person must be an Andhra Pradesh State native.
  • Candidates whose parents must reside in the AP, either entirely or partially.
  • Candidates whose both or one of the parents have studied in AP.

Course Wise Eligibility-

For 3 Years LLB Programme:

  • Qualifying Exam: The applicant must have passed the 10+2+3 pattern in any subject from an accredited university or board.
  • Qualifying Marks: In the qualifying test, the candidate must have received a minimum of 45% marks (or 40% for ST/SC ).
  • Candidates who are in their final year of college are also eligible to apply.

For 5 Years LLB Programme:

  • Qualifying Exam: The applicant must have passed the 10+2 pattern or its equivalent from any accredited university or board.
  • Qualifying Marks: The candidate's 12th-level exams must have been passed with a minimum aggregate  of 45% marks (or 40% for ST/SC candidates).

AP LAWCET 2024 Application Process

The official website of the exam-conducting organization will host the application form for the AP LAWCET 2024. During the third week of March 2024, candidates will have the ability to complete the application. Only those who meet the requirements will have access to the application.  Until the last week of April 2024, qualified candidates may submit their applications without incurring a late charge. Authority will also give the applicant the option to submit the form after the deadline for submission, but with late fees still applied.

Commencing in the first week of May 2024, candidates will have the ability to amend or rectify errors in their application.

Steps of Application Procedure of AP LAWCET.

  • Candidates need to visit the official website and click on the AP LAWCET 2024 application form link. They should fill out the required details such as personal, academic, and contact details and save the application form.
  • Candidates should select the document upload option and upload the required documents such as photographs and signature.
  • Candidates need to select their preferred test center for the exam.
  • Candidates must pay the application fee online using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. After successful payment, candidates will receive a 'Payment ID'.
  • After completing the above steps, candidates should submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

AP LAWCET 2024 Admit card

AP LAWCET admit card 2024 will be released in the third week of May 2024. Only those candidates who have successfully enrolled will receive their AP LAWCET 2024 admit card from the exam conducting body.  Candidates will be able to download their AP LAWCET admit card 2024 through online mode from the website of exam conducting authority.

Candidates can download their AP LAWCET admit card 2024 from the official website by following the instructions below. 

  • Go to the official website link- https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/
  • Click on "Download Hall Ticket." Enter your registration number, date of birth, phone number, and AP LAWCET payment reference ID to access the hall ticket.
  • Click on "Download Hall Ticket." The AP LAWCET hall ticket will appear on the computer screen. 
  • Click the print button to take a printout of the admit card, and save it for the further processes.

Mental Ability: Blood Relations, Number series, Coding-Decoding, Syllogisms, Direction Sense, Sitting Arrangements, Analogies, Alphabet series, Data Interpretation, Sequencing, Visual Puzzles.
