DTU is one of the oldest and renowned engineering college of India which performs really well in every major aspect. Mechanical engineering is one of the most renowned branch of our college. The college has a lot of tech teams including a team that makes Formula racing cars and they participate at international levels and bring laurels to the college. Recently the concept of minor degree has been introduced which only a few selected engineering colleges in India provide till now. If a student wishes to go for higher studies then being in the capital city he/she can have access to various top coaching centers. For extracurricular activities, there are many societies in our college and one can join them as per their interest. So, overall its a great college.

Campus Facilities: The college has a great infrastructure and is spread in an area of 164 acres. It has a big sports complex which has almost every sport except swimming. Wi-Fi is available in all the departments, hostels and library. All the classrooms and labs are fully equipped with AC's. The central library is very huge with 3 floors and is fully equipped with centralized AC and Wi-Fi. There are 2 main canteens in our college which are quite affordable. There is an amul and nescafe too.

Campus Life: The campus life is really great and the environment here is quite chill. Our annual cultural fest 'Engifest' is one of the largest fests in India and a huge crowd visit here during this time. 'Invictus' is the annual tech fest which is also one of the largest tech fests in India.'Yuvaan' is the annual literature fest which is also one of the biggest literature fest in India.'Aahvaan' is the annual sports fest which is also massive.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and will help the students in every possible way. Almost every teacher have done their phD and have published some research papers in the top research journals of the world.

Placements: For internship the companies start coming in the beginning of the 5th semester and offer a great stipend. Talking about the placement, this year the highest international package was 1.84 Crore per annum which was offered by Palantir, London. Almost 15 students have got a package of more than 1 Crore this year. The highest domestic package was 64 Lakhs per annum which was offered by Apple. The average package stood at around 15 Lakhs per annum this year.

Campus/Events:

Start Up Incubator: Our college has a great incubation centre and its very active. It promotes entrepreneurship among the students. The students who have great startup ideas can bring their ideas here and the college fully supports their funding if they like the idea. Many small startups have received their funding from the college as of now.
