Established in 1937, St. Xavier's Technical Institute is an electronics institution located in Mumbai, India. It started as a school on the grounds of St. Xavier's College in Mumbai and is a member of the Jesuit family of institutions. In June 1969, it moved to a new location in Mahim. It was previously known as the Abdulla Fazalbhoy Technical Institute for Radio and Cinema.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has given it approval and it is connected to the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. The Engineering and Architecture stream only offers one course. The Maharashtra government gave St. Xavier's academic autonomy in June 1994.
