Recommends this college
Overall, my experience at the college has been a mix of positives and challenges. On the positive side, I appreciate the quality of the peer group at the college. It attracts some of the brightest students from across Maharashtra, creating a competitive and motivating environment that pushes you to perform your best. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and bring a lot of expertise to the table. While it sometimes requires persistence to get help or clarification, the insights they provide are invaluable and help build a strong academic foundation. However, there are a few drawbacks as well. One concern is that internal marks can sometimes be influenced by your relationship with faculty, which may not always seem fair. If you're not on good terms with a professor, it could impact your grades, even if your academic performance is solid. Additionally, the campus offers limited opportunities for sports and other co-curricular activities. With only one annual fest and no regular extracurricular programs, the campus life can feel a bit inactive outside of academics. Despite these challenges, the college does provide a solid academic foundation, but there's definitely room for improvement in terms of overall campus life and fairness in grading.

Campus Facilities:
The college campus is spread across 8 acres, providing a decent amount of space for academic buildings, hostels, and other facilities. While the campus is not large, it is functional and accommodates the basic needs of students. The infrastructure is fairly basic but meets the essential requirements. There are classrooms equipped with standard teaching aids, though some may feel a bit outdated. The campus also has a library, which is a useful resource for students, but it closes early at 5:30 PM, limiting access for those who prefer to study late. In terms of academic facilities, the college provides the necessary resources, including a computer lab and lecture halls. However, the campus lacks some of the more advanced facilities or spaces for research and innovation that you might find in larger, more well-funded institutions. Despite this, the academic environment is focused on delivering core knowledge, and the faculty are knowledgeable, even though they could be more proactive in sharing resources or assistance. The overall infrastructure supports academic learning, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of modern amenities and extended study hours.
Campus Life:
Life on campus is fairly quiet, with limited social activities or events outside of academics. There isn't much of a vibrant social life, as most students focus primarily on their studies. The campus has a few facilities, but they are basic. The hostel does have a gym, which is convenient for students who like to stay fit. There's also a library, but it closes early at 5:30 PM, which can be restrictive for students who prefer to study late. As for extracurricular activities, the college only holds one annual fest, so there aren't many opportunities for students to engage in social or cultural events throughout the year. The campus itself is spread across 8 acres, which is decent in size, but it doesn’t feel very bustling or active in terms of student life. Overall, the campus infrastructure is functional, but there isn’t much in terms of a lively social scene or recreational options beyond academics.
Faculty:
The faculty at this college possess a great depth of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. They are highly qualified and have a strong academic background, which is a big advantage for students looking to gain a deep understanding of the subjects. However, I feel that while the professors are knowledgeable, they could be a bit more proactive in sharing information quickly during lectures. Sometimes, it takes a while for them to explain concepts or provide additional resources, which can make the learning process slower. That said, once the information is shared, it is usually clear and insightful. Overall, the faculty's expertise is valuable, but more prompt communication could further enhance the learning experience.
Placements:
The placement and job opportunities at the college are somewhat limited. Out of a batch of 70 students, only around 10 students typically get internships through the college. The rest of the students are required to find their own internship opportunities. This makes it essential for students to actively network and search for internships independently if they want to gain practical experience. Internships are compulsory for all students as part of the curriculum, so while securing one is mandatory, the responsibility largely falls on the students themselves to ensure they find a good opportunity. As for campus placements, the average salary package offered is around ?4.9 lakhs per annum. While this is a decent starting point, it's not very high compared to some other institutions. The placement process is available, but competition is fierce, and only a certain number of students are placed each year. For those who are not placed through campus recruitment, it's important to focus on enhancing employability skills, such as internships, certifications, networking, and personal projects, to increase job prospects after completing the course.
