Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Agartala) Tripura, commenced its functioning in 2018 and since then the college is being mentored by the National Institute of Technology Agartala. The college has been recently awarded a tag of Institution of National Importance (INI) in February 2020. IIIT Agartala offers admission to an undergraduate course namely, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) course in Computer Science and Engineering. The total intake of college is 38. Applicants who have appeared for the JEE Main exam after the successful completion of 10+2 (Science). Once the exam result is out, seat allocation of the students is undertaken by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Applicants have the option to apply for the admission process online as well as offline.
