Guru Kashi University is a private university located in Talwandi Sabo, Punjab, India. It was established in 2011 by the Act of the Legislature of the state of Punjab and is considered one of the best private universities in India.

By Act No. 37 of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, the Government of Punjab established Guru Kashi University. GKU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) has approved GKU as the only private university in the Malwa region to provide the B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) program recognized by the Indian Ministry of Agriculture.

The university offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctorate courses in a variety of disciplines like- Fine Arts, Physiotherapy, Yoga Therapy, Education, Engineering, Management, Computer Application, Science, Fashion Technology, Law, Pharmacy and many more.

My overall experience at Guru Kashi University is above average. The faculty of our college is very co-operative and I considered it the best thing. They support a lot. Most of the staff is not qualified at doctorate level but few of them have the best knowledge of the concerned subject.
