Assam Don Bosco University- Eligibility Criteria

For UG- 

• B.A/BBA/BBA(Aviation)/B.Com-Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) in any stream with 50% in the aggregate.

• B.Tech-Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) with 50% of the aggregate and 50% of the aggregate of Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Computer Science

OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 50% marks (subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted)

• BCA- Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) in any stream with 45% in the aggregate. Those who have pursued Mathematics at Class XII will have an advantage.

• B.Sc- Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) with 45% of the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For PG-

• M.A/MBA(aviation)-Graduation in any stream with 50% of the aggregate from a UGC Recognized University.

• MBA- Graduation (10+2+3/4) in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks. Appear in the Don Bosco University Entrance Test (DBU-PGET). Candidates with valid GMAT/ CAT/XAT/MAT /AICTE-CMAT/JMAT may be exempted from the written test.

• MCA- Graduation in Bachelor of Computer Applications / BTech Computer Science Engineering / BSc / B.Com with a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks.

• M.Com- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from any UGC recognized University with 50% aggregate.

• MSW-Graduation in any stream with 50% of the aggregate. Those who have a background in Social Work / Psychology / Education / Sociology / Home Science / Human Resource Management will have an advantage.

• M.Sc-Graduation in any stream with 50% of the aggregate. Those who have a background in Social Work / Psychology / Education / Sociology / Home Science / Human Resource Management will have an advantage.

• M.Tech-Graduation/Post Graduation in an appropriate area of Engineering/Science with a CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% in the aggregate in the qualifying examination.

For PhD- At least 55% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 for the Master’s degree, M. Tech or M. Phil in the concerned subject or an allied subject.
