The candidate shall have passed two years Pre-University Examination conducted by Board of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State or 12th Standard or its equivalent recognised by the University with English as one of the languages and Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as the optional subjects.
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% mark. However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST/CAT-1, marks shall not be less than 45%.
