The Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNITT) is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana region in Ibrahimpatnam's Ranga Reddy district. It is conveniently connected  by public transportation and located around 20 kilometres from the city. The college campus spans 100 acres of land and is encircled by a natural environment, founded by  Sri Tavinder Singh Kohli, the Founder and Chairman of GNIT,  a visionary industrialist and well-known Philanthropist.

The beginning was when Guru Nanak Educational Society was founded in 1998. The College affiliated to JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) and it is AICTE  (All India Council for Technical Education) approved also.

Candidates should obtain at least 50%  marks (45% in case of reserved category ) in graduation or equivalent with PGECET rank/ GATE/ GMAT score.

MBA-  Candidates should pass a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% ( 45% in case of reserved category ) along with a secured rank in ICET.

PGDM- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
