Acharya Nagarjuna University, named after the great Buddhist philosopher Acharya Nagarjuna, was established in 1976 and is located between Vijayawada and Guntur . The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded A-grade to Acharya Nagarjuna University. The institute offers UG, PG, diploma, and certificate courses in nine departments including Science, Management, Arts and Humanities, Commerce, Computer, and Linguistics.
