About International Institute for Population Sciences:

The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) is a premier research and teaching institute in the field of population studies located in Mumbai, India. It was established in 1956 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to train and develop skilled professionals in the field of Population Studies, Statistics, and Demography. IIPS is recognized by UGC (the University Grants Commission). It has been approved by MHRD (the Ministry of Human Resource Development). IIPS Mumbai has also been accredited by NAAC.
