The National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension, from which MANAGE's acronym "MANAGE" derives, was created in 1987 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In 1992, its status was upgraded to that of a National Institute. India has developed MANAGE as a solution to the problems of agricultural extension. In 2018, MANAGE was honoured for their efforts after winning the “ Education Leadership Award”. The ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare, the government of India, is associated with the National Institute Of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad (MANAGE). In 2022 MANAGE, Hyderabad was ranked 9th best among the colleges in Hyderabad according to the times. It has received accreditation from the association of Indian Universities (AIU), The All India council of technical education (AICTE), the national board of accreditation ( NBA)
Since its founding in 1987 MANAGE, Hyderabad has been committed to providing extension officers, managers, scientists, and administrators in the agricultural industry specialized services such as management training, consultancy, education, research, and information services.
