The National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension, from which MANAGE's acronym "MANAGE" derives, was created in 1987 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In 1992, its status was upgraded to that of a National Institute. India has developed MANAGE as a solution to the problems of agricultural extension. In 2018, MANAGE was honoured for their efforts after winning the “ Education Leadership Award”.  The ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare, the government of India, is associated with the National Institute Of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad (MANAGE). In  2022 MANAGE, Hyderabad was ranked 9^th best among the colleges in Hyderabad according to the times. It has received accreditation from the association of Indian Universities (AIU), The All India council of technical education (AICTE), the national board of accreditation ( NBA)

Since its founding in 1987 MANAGE, Hyderabad has been committed to providing extension officers, managers, scientists, and administrators in the agricultural industry specialized services such as management training, consultancy, education, research, and information services. • The applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or closely connected fields, such as agricultural engineering, agricultural information technology, and bioinformatics, for example.

• The required graduation degree minimum of 50% and for SC/ST candidates should be 45%.

• Graduate students in their final year are also eligible to apply.

• Candidates must possess a current CAT 2022 score card, (minimum 55% ).

Over 12,000 publications, including Indian and foreign journals, are in the library's collection, and more are constantly being added.

• Hostel: The institute provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. MANAGE provides two hostels for boys and one for girls with spacious rooms with wi-fi connectivity and a hygienic food facility.

• Medical facility: institute has a well-maintained healthcare centre that provides medical emergency facilities to its teachers as well its students.

• Gym: institute also provide a gym facility to keep their student's and teachers' health a priority, gym is equipped with modern tools for used for maintaining fitness.
