B.M.S. College of Law was established by Sri B.S. Narayan in 1963-64, under the auspices of the BMS Educational Trust. The college is conveniently accessible by various modes of transportation and is situated at PO Box No 1908, Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi, Bangalore, Karnataka. It is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
